Virtual Vancouver: Cast fresh eyes on the world

Most of all, VR is essentially a solo experience that shuts out the outside world. That’s where Vancouver’s Wavesine comes in.

In its Coal Harbour studio, Xiaotao and David Clement are set to revolutionize the head-mounted VR experience with their device called the Nomad.

The Nomad is a wireless headset that was designed with ease-of-use in mind. The stereoscopic oculars don’t touch your face and won’t block out your peripheral vision unless you want them to, and you won’t spend 10 minutes fumbling to put it on properly, hoping you’re getting it right.
